(Were you, by chance, searching for "diner games"?)
This site is full of original material for players of table-top role-playing games. Input and collaboration is welcomed! Please read more about the site here. Or just dive in to whatever looks interesting.
A couple of recommendations: GURPS players, check out what's at The GURPS Diner. The house special is GULLIVER, an easy rules expansion for creating and playing odd-sized creatures. To see the lunch, dinner, wine, and kids' menus all at once, peek at the site map. Take your time; the busboy will be along shortly to clear you a place.

Heh, good memories, Presteamed. I don't own the Japanese MA, but I've perused it, along with the rest of the pocket-sized line. (I like the size, but good luck getting those to lie open flat on the game table...)
I think I vaguely recall the narrators too. I wonder whether it's really necessary to change the text format so much, as the publishers (Kadowaka, IIRC) seem to feel; must entail a lot of extra time and expense!

I have an old Japanese version of the book. It is paperback novel-sized, and has some flat manga illustrations, as well as the usual annoying ditzy sister and goody two-shoes brother act that narrate most Japanese RPG books. It is probably way different from the English version - I remember there was more art and interesting sidebar information.
