Is an armor supplement of interest?

I recently posted a draft update to the old Edge Protection rules:  Edge Protection: Armor Enhancement for GURPS (draft)

As hinted therein, the EP rules could be part of a larger treatise on body armor. I know that'd be of interest to some, as armor protection value, proper historical weights, and other minutiae are eternal topics on the SJG forums.

But what would a good list of topics  include? Here are some ideas:

  • The EP rules
  • Option for increasing overall protection of low-tech armor (some folks say it's too low in GURPS)
  • Revised weight for historical armor, piece by piece (I believe there's some very detailed stuff on the SJG forums from Gef, and probably many more people)
  • Weight and cost of armor made for odd sizes/shapes
  • Rules for armor quality, with effect on performance and cost (I believe I have good suggested from Ragehammer, which could be incorporated with permission)
  • An option for D Cole's suggestion that armor reduce dice, not points, of damage
  • Edited: Add interesting armor types not covered elsewhere, like bracers (see http://forums.sjgames.com/showthread.php?t=24481 )

It was also suggested I look at Dan Howard's armor values for chainmail, scale, and lamellar armors from his articles in Pyramid; that could be worth incorporating, with permission.

What else would be appropriate additions to an all-round supplement on body armor?
