About the site appearance

Yes, the site looks silly (ooh, Slashdotty!), and it's not staying this way. This is a test of graphical theme, to clear up some problems with postings. (At least one issue: input forms that opened too wide, partially hiding beneath the info blocks on the page's side.) Posts now work better for me, without layout problems that make the posting and/or previewing difficult, but how about you? If you'd be so kind, regular visitor, please try a reply comment and let me know. Thank you! -end-

Thanks, dar. Layout problems seem to be better, and I see another small improvement: clicking on a link to a comment (such as in the Recent Comments block) jumps to the actual comment, not just to the page as before. 

So I'll use this or a similar graphic theme as a base. Now I just need to de-uglify it.
